Featured Meetings and CME Events

Continuing Medical Education or CME is important requirement for physicians and medical professionals to maintain good standing within various medical associations as well as to maintain all the legal requirement and licenses. Continuing medical education (CME) offers physicians the opportunity to update themselves with the changes in the world of medicine and to always be abreast of pertinent changes in their respective fields. With this program, physicians can improve their knowledge, skill and attitude which will also enhance their performance as a working professional.

In recent years, obtaining credits for continuing medical education (CME) has gone from the traditional classroom seminars and conferences to interactive online activities, extravagant vacations and destination cruises that combine the required study and education with, for many, a much needed recluse from the day to day operations in the medical industry. Even with all the new technology and variety in CME courses available, one must still make sure though that the institution providing the course and credits still be recognized by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education or ACCME the state in which they practice. ACCME identifies, develops and promotes the standards for quality continuing medical education and also oversees all Continuing Medical Education providers. All organizers on CMESchedule.com are required to adhere to the ACCME guidelines but it is up to the medical professional to make sure that the courses offered will meet all of the necessary requirements for their CME credits. CMESchedule.com does not conduct or organize CME events, merely provides a platform for organizers and professionals to connect. Please contact specific event coordinators for any event specific questions or concerns.
